For me, this site is above all else… just a way for me to find dope new music from around the world. Yea I like supporting artists… you got me there….but I do this more for me than I do for you. Having started the site in 2015 I have certainly been able to come up with my own opinions and perspectives on different scenes around the world – and Australia has been one of my favorites for a while now.
It seems at least once a month at this point, I am stumbling upon new Australian artists that are dropping gems – this month it is Ash Pluggy & Boston Switch. Maybe I am late to the party here, but my first introduction to the AUS producers came with their latest single, “Better Alone”, a vibrant, Trap infused, melodic, vocal, electronic slap. The dynamic new release blends a number of influences into an energetic release that hooks you at the very first note.
Clean and impressive production, arrangements and sound design topped off with a proper mix and banging master make sure that this one is as technical as it is wavy. Make sure you check this out and keep an eye on Ash Pluggy & Boston Switch.
