Waves is the prototypical Summer hit. It’s one of those pop/rap songs that you don’t have to think too deeply about but just vibe out. You picture yourself at a beach party or just chilling in the Summer with your girl or some friends. The beat is very tropical and gives out good energy.
Ollie Joseph (rapper) reminds me of Skizzy Mars in that they’re both high energy and have comparable voices. Ollie is high spirited and has a catchiness to him thanks to his clever song writing skills. If you liked Ollies verse’s go ahead and check him out on Spotify and Soundcloud. Dan Heig also kills it by dishing out melodic and controlled vocals on the hook.
