Graves Bangs On ‘I’m Fine’ with EZI

While Hawaiian DJ/Producer Christian Mochizuki first made waves behind the scenes  starting in 2010 when he landed production and engineering credits on Kanye West’s Grammy Award winning 2010 album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy“, it wasn’t until 2015 that he began to release originals under the moniker Graves.  While his assist on Kanye’s smash may have put him on the map, he has also worked with the likes of Kid Cudi, Justin Bieber, Big Sean, and many more.

With years of experience and a rapidly growing fan base eager to support everything Graves, he released his debut EP, “Hilo”, in 2017 and it quickly shot up the charts landing at #1 on the iTunes Electronic chart.  Always admired for his ability to cross genres and break new ground, everything Graves touches brings a raw emotion that is hard to duplicate.

Now, with the release of his new EP looming, Graves has begun to gives fans a taste of what’s to come.  The lead single from the project, “I’m Fine”, features vocalist EZI and is a highly dynamic, moody bomb.  While the verses remain pretty minimal with pulsating synths and big chords, the track builds up into the drop – flipping the track on its head and bringing a dirty, high-energy, unexpected grit.

Between EZI’s haunting vocals and Graves filthy production, the new collaboration shows both artists in their best light – perfectly complimenting each other to create and absolutely solid jam that is well worth playing on repeat.
