Sammy Porter’s throwback house track is far from patchy
I can’t explain how perfect the moment was, listening to this track for the first time in Madison Square Park whilst thirty or so people practiced tai-chi in front of me. Unfortunately, much to my sadness, none of them broke out into a “Napoleon Dynamite” style dance.
London based, Sammy Porter has released a brilliant new track, “A Bit Patchy” on MistaJam’s label, Speakerbox. “I started the track as a DJ edit of the Incredible Bongo Band version, a few sessions later it took on a life of its own.
