SHY Martin Continues Climb to the Top with ‘Out of My Hands’

I have been thoroughly obsessed with SHY Martin’s music since she first came onto my radar early last year.  With her impressive vocals and lyrics, SHY Martin was able to rack up some major credits and accolades before launching her solo career.  From co-writing hits with Mike Perry, Kygo, Ellie Goulding, Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, NOTD, Bea Miller, Jess Glynne, Astrid S, and ALMA, SHY Martin has been able to accumulate over 2B (that’s billion) Spotify streams to date – and she’s just getting started.

Raised in the small town in Sweden (the undisputed home of impeccable Pop – IMO), SHY Martin took to songwriting at a young age as a way to express herself.  About how it all began, she says, “I was never good at talking about my feelings so I wrote them down instead.  When I felt sad, me and my mum wrote letters to each other about it. So expressing myself through songs came pretty naturally for me.”  By 17 she was winning competitions in her hometown and soon landed a short lived contract with EMI before ultimately deciding to go the independent route.

Most recently SHY Martin has unleashed her new single, “Out of My Hands”, a brilliant tune about love, regret and yearning – an anthem for young love.  I could go on and on about how impressive SHY Martin is, but the fact of the matter is – if she isn’t on your artist to watch list, I don’t know what you are doing.  This song is as perfectly crafted as all of her other singles and once again raises the bar for other Pop artists.  With lyrics that make you feel and performances that make you want a whole lot more SHY Martin has figured out the formula and will without a doubt continue to climb the charts and rise in consciousness worldwide and I will be paying attention every step of the way.
