This is What ‘1,000 Ruined Holidays’ Sounds Like

Hailing from small town Montana, Dream Pop artist Charlee Remitz has been putting in work for the last few years and turning heads all the while.

At eighteen she moved to Nashville to pursue her musical career, leading to the release of her first well received EP, “These Veins“.  Following on that success she made the move that most aspiring artists would make at that point… she moved to LA where she worked with Mike Gonsolin to create and release her debut album, “Bright White Trims“, which ended up charting on college radio with no label backing.

Continuing her push, the now 21 year old is working on her second EP and just released the first taste in the form of, “1,000 Ruined Holidays“, featuring 24hrs.

The dreamy release sees Charlee swaying on the track drenched in reverb and casually hitting every note.  Bright, powerful pads, plucks and arps encapsulate every inch of the audible real estate, with the energy picking up with a driving bass and drums at just the right moments.  The sing-song rap verse from 24hrs adds a nice touch to the already dynamic track and also adds a very current flavor to the release.  The quick break makes the reappearance of Charlee that much more impactful to close out the track.

Overall this is a moody, vibey, captivating release.
