I know I can’t be the only one who is excited to see a swing in dance music away from the in your face EDM and back to the groove. Don’t get me wrong, raging for days at a festival with your closest friends and happy strangers preaching PLUR is an awesome time, but music is meant to be more than synths and drops.
It seems that everyone, including the big name festival DJ’s are taking notice. With the incorporation of live instruments, melodies and meaningful lyrics, dance music is back on track.
That being said… I LOVE #TropHouse, and no one does it better than Thomas Jack and Kygo.
