Born with music in her blood, raised in Portland, newcomer Zoë Ferguson initially began writing tunes only a few short years ago as a way to cope with life as a teenager and all of the stresses that come along with it. After teaching herself piano, the young songstress began to create original tunes and share them with the world via Soundcloud. Now, having worked with a number of world class producers, it seems Zoë Ferguson has found her sound – and she is ready to show the masses what she’s made of.
Now, at just 18 years old, Zoë has two official singles available and continues to line up releases to keep the momentum moving. Her debut single, “Dip”, is a stand out single from the budding artist and undoubtedly sets the tone for her career going forward. Over a moody, muted production that relies on mellow chords and slapping drums, Zoë Ferguson pens a youthful and relatable tune about throwing in the towel and moving on despite the feelings that have come to take grip. The new age break up jam is equal parts swag and sauce and shows that Zoë Ferguson is without a doubt here to makes some waves.
About he tunes, she offers, “I want people to hear my music and be able to relate to the words.”
