Fresh artist on the Brooklyn scene is Aaron Taos, a diverse singer songwriter who effortlessly ruptures genre boundaries.
His new indie-rock track, “Bangs” perfectly showcases his rich layered vocals, ideal for that late summer drive home from the beach. Pursuing a relatable theme of unrequited love, Taos endearingly describes the track to be, “About a girl I had a crush on senior year of college but was too scared to talk to.”
Equally as dreamy is his use of reverb and delay, which married to his vintage pop rhythms plays homage to the sound of early 80’s pop.The head bopping track ends on a distorted, crunchy guitar solo enough to make anyone’s nose crinkle in reminiscent delight.
