After kicking off the new year with, “FLUSH”, Abhi The Nomad has been non-stop – from supporting Oliver Tree on tour, to performing on a number of stages at SXSW, the Austin implant has been full steam ahead . The new EP features 5 tracks from last years breakout-out debut, “Marbled”, reimagined and stripped down. With major tastemakers paying close attention and having already hit the road on his own 14 city headlining tour, Abhi is quickly becoming a fan favorite with every new release. Gearing up for several festival slots, summer looks like it will be heating up pretty soon for the Desi Indie Hip Hop All Star.
While people still have his album in heavy rotation, the new release throws a nice variation into the mix allowing fans to choose between the originals or the chill af acoustic versions. About the new project, Abhi explains, “I love the idea of re-imagining music in different lights – Yet, I don’t think remixes give way to more depth the same way unplugged or acoustic versions do. There’s a different energy captured in these tracks and I think it highlights the songwriting behind these jams that people love mostly for musical qualities, helps you pick up on the words and why they were said when they were. Raw and unfiltered.“
