I am in love with this next tune.
Michigan raised, LA based artist Absofacto has just released his 4-track EP and to give the fans a bit more, he also released the video for one of the stand out tracks, “Done With Love”, featuring Herizen.
It all began for Absofacto in late 2015 with the release of the single, “Dissolve”, which quickly reached the #1 spot on HypeMachine and has been streamed millions of times since. Looking to prove that it was not a fluke, he got back in the studio and continued creating. The second offering from the project came earlier this year with, “Light Outside”, which has been streamed over 3M times on Spotify alone since its release.
Now with the video for, “Done With Love”, Absofacto is back again and in a beautiful way. The emotional tune comes together with moody Electronic production setting the tone and an absolutely stunning duet between Absofacto and Herizen stealing the show. Mellow emotional verses break into anthemic hooks that pull you in and don’t let go. The way their vocals fit together makes me want both artists to do a full project together. Between the harmonies and the call dynamic and response… they sound made for each other.
The tunes video is also an emotional and cinematic treat. Giving you a glimpse into both artists vibes and making the song connect even more. I’ll be patiently waiting for the rest of this EP.
