10-years after his debut album “Straight No Chaser”, renowned Hip-Hop producer Mr. Hudson has released his newest album “WHEN THE MACHINE STOPS”. His latest offering doesn’t disappoint with catchy pop melodies and sci-fi inspired undertones.
“WHEN THE MACHINE STOPS” takes listeners on a journey through 11-tracks of slick Hip-Hop and Pop infused beats delivered via Hudson’s minimalist production style. In fact, Hudson produced and mixed the album solely on his laptop. His long awaited LP also brings a noteworthy list of features including Vic Mensa, Taylor Bennet and rising artist Josh Dean.
In between his solo albums, Hudson has released several singles including 2017’s “Can’t Forget You” and “Coldplay” feat. Vic Mensa as well as co-writing credits on Janelle Monae’s hit album “Dirty Computer”. Prior to that, Hudson was on the roster for Kanye West’s GOOD Music label. It was during that time that he helped produce legendary Kanye album “808s & Heartbreak”.
