LA based producer & songwriter Aftrhours just dropped a new jam, and I am digging it. Starting at a young age, he has been building a name and a fan base through live performances, original tracks and quality production.
As a young artist he was able to perform opening slots for huge national acts like 3 Doors Down, All-American Rejects, Kelly Clarkson, Tim McGraw, Toby Keith, Journey, Heart, Eddy Money, Peter Frampton, Foreigner, the Guess Who and more.
Now focusing on building his catalog and continuing to create, he has just released a new single and video for, “Yesterday“. The laid-back Pop tune sees Aftrhours reminiscing over a broken heart and the bad decisions that have left him alone. While the production remains pretty low key, it is both melodic and clean.
What really made this song work for me is the vocal performance, songwriting and Aftrhours ability to stick to the theme. Beneath the dynamic, youthful vocals the story of his broken heart plays out – only further accentuated by the video.
All in all this is a well executed, highly relatable, catchy tune.
