Alfie Templeman Preps Mini-Album with ‘Everybody’s Gonna Love Somebody’ [VIDEO]

It has only been a couple of years since Bedfordshire-born 18 year old Alfie Templeman introduced his sound to the world. Through a string fo independent releases, the multi-instrumentalist/producer/songwriter quickly found himself in the spotlight and has since kept up with the pace, delivering an array of massive tunes. Having landed some massive support from the likes of BBC Sound Of 2021, Radio X Great X-Pectations, MTV, Amazon Music, Vevo, The Sun, Sunday Mirror, The Independent, The Telegraph, The Official Charts UK, Wonderland Magazine, Huffington Post, and more, the young gun has managed to remain incredibly consistent as his star has begun to burn brighter.

Creating music in his bedroom and yet reaching a worldwide audience, there is no doubt that Alfie Templeman has found a lane of his own and people are flocking to join the movement. With over 50 million streams to date, over 1 million monthly listeners on Spotify and an ever-growing fanbase on social media, I can’t help but think that thing are only going to start moving even faster for the young songwriter. Having already proven he is here to stay, Alfie Templeman is now prepping for the release of his mini-album, “Forever Isn’t Long Enough“, this May and is teasing fans with some new tunes that only help to add to the hype.

Most recently, Alfie Templeman has unveiled his latest single, “Everybody’s Gonna Love Somebody“, and it is a smooth and laid back, 80’s inspired jam that features his signature melodies, popping guitar rhythms and slick solos that weave in and out of the track adding layer upon layer of appeal to the perfectly executed tune. With a bouncing, uplifting, feel-good vibe, his latest offering is a sure mood booster – easy to understand why it was chosen by Annie Mac as her Hottest Record In The World on BBC Radio 1 – his fourth consecutive Hottest Record.

About the tune, Alfie Templeman says, “I first wrote and recorded “Everybody’s Gonna Love Somebody” back in 2017 when I was 14 years old and it’s been ingrained in my memory ever since. I’d always go back to it and try to re-record it but I could never quite get it right – then I went on a Tears For Fears binge and realized that it needed that “Everybody Wants To Rule The World” kind of production. I got back in the studio, changed a few lyrics, and cut it in a couple of hours. It’s probably my favourite song on the new record.”
