Everything we do here at RockDafuqOut is based on a vibe. Music more than anything is supposed to move people. For us, it isn’t always about the best production, mix, lyrics. arrangement, etc. – it all comes down to the vibe. Swedish Indio Pop outfit Kastrup brings Just that.
Preparing to drop their forthcoming EP in 2018, the group has recently released the second single, “You and I”, and its bright melodies, anthemic hook, and overall dynamic arrangement have hit us in the feels. Starting off slowly with vocals and guitar, the track slowly builds up the a huge hook blending both Electronic and Acoustic elements to create an overall massive wall of sound.
Background vocal layers and beautiful harmonies give a rich and organic feel to help support the instrumentation. From beginning to end, this track grabs hold and keeps the listener entertained while lush melodies set the tone. Uplifting, jammy and rocking. With prior support already from Apple Music and national radio in their home country, I have no doubt the new EP will be turning some heads.
