Coming out of the gate last year dropping his first official single, “Bounce”, benny mayne quickly saw his music catching on, hitting the top of the Soundcloud R&B chart – leading to a signing with Paradigm Booking Agency and a distribution deal with Empire.
His newest release, “lucky”, sees Benny sending a message to his chosen late-night rendezvous partner, but it is far from a love song. On top of the thumping production from Rosco, benny mayne brings contemporary R&B melodies with a Hip Hop edge and classic Pop structure. Incredibly catchy top lines couple with an undeniable swag and not to be fucked with attitude – all cloaked in a blanket of smooth and seductive vocals.
While this may be just the beginning for benny mayne, there is no doubt he is on the right path. Back to back he has released singles that can work in the club, on the radio, or in the bedroom – hard for even seasoned vets to pull off time and time again.
