Big Heath Goes In On New Single ‘Plan’ [VIDEO]

Hailing from Cambridge, fast rising UK MC Big Heath first began rapping at the age of 10 when he realized that it helped him overcome his stutter.  While his image may confuse you at first, he is well aware…and not concerned.

It was only last year that Big Heath got his first big break – booking support slots with Nas and Freddie Gibbs.  It seems once he hit the stage, his energetic live performance set the record straight – Big Heath is here to change the game.  In what seems like an instant, Big Heath was on the radar of the tastemakers, most notably DJ Semtex who has championed the artist ever since.

Towards the top of this year, Big Heath dropped his first single, “Switch Sides”, featuring Geko and quickly found support from tastemakers like MistaJam, Toddla T, Charlie Sloth, Semtex and DJ Target.  Since release the track has garnered support from of BBC 1Xtra, Radio 1, GRM Daily and Link UP.

Now preparing the release of his debut EP, “Lonely”, Big Heath has just unleashed his new single, “Plan”, and it is an outright banger.  Produced by Show N Prove (J Hus, Stefflon Don, Giggs), the new tune features haunting synths, dirty basslines, huge 808’s that lend the perfect compliment to Big Heath‘s performance.  About the track, Big Heath says, “I wrote plan in the hotel room after doing a session that didn’t work out too well.” Says BiG HEATH. “I was pissed off and wanted to put my point across that I’m here to change the game, despite being a fat white rapper from Cambridge. Being myself is my only plan.

Delivered along with an official video directed by Henry Smith alongside Big Heath himself, it was shot in the East Ham Working Mens Club and features the MC taking the first step and getting it all off of his chest to a room full of strangers.  He knows exactly who he is and embraces every bit of it.  Regardless of what you may think… Big Heath has a plan.
