For their fourth official single, Brooklyn duo, Me Nd Adam just dropped “Player No. 1“, and it is a gritty, danceable Pop jam.
Inspired by the sex scene between Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo in the 1999 remake of The Thomas Crown Affair (that’s amazing), the track features raw and catchy vocals on top of synth laden Electronic production.
While there is nothing incredibly technical going on here, the top lines and overall energy are all it needs for this track to work. Blending influences and blurring the lines between Rock, Pop and Electronica, this track is accessible to almost anyone.
Perfectly structured with strong hooks and memorable melodies, this song will grow on you the more you listen.
