If you are a fan of Electronic music, and you follow the proper outlets, I have no doubt that you have already heard of Bonnie X Clyde. The duo has been turning heads since they dropped their debut track, “The Ride”, in 2015. Since then they have been full steam ahead.
Since catching the eye of Insomniac Records and inking a licensing deal, the duo has seen some major success including their most popular tune, “Bass Jam”, being named the #1 “Beat of the Week” for an impressive 5 weeks straight on the Sirius XM BPM charts. Their signature “vocal bass” sound combines Bonnie’s gorgeous voice with melodic basslines and emotive progressions. BxC’s tunes always seem to find the perfect balance between emotionally charged and dance floor friendly.
With lots of new music on the horizon, the have recently released an official video for, “Torn”, a collaboration between them and mysterious duo Purge. True to form, Bonnie dominates on the vocals with her signature vulnerable yet powerful tone, with the production being both dynamic and enthralling. The track start with a deep and haunting basslines and quickly picking up into a hard-hitting bounce.
About the track BxC say, “We all deal with the feeling of being torn in some way or another. Torn is about expressing your true, raw feelings and coming to terms with them…and understanding it’s ok to need help and to not be ok all the time.”
