BRKN BLVD Closes Out 2023 With Gritty New Single "Messed Up"

Continuing to prove his worth as a solo artist, RockDafuqOut Records label head Brian Delaney has just released his 12th single as BRKN BLVD, “Messed Up,” alongside Indianapolis Alt-Rock group Small Words. Serving as his last single of the year, BRKN BLVD has continued to pump out high caliber tunes ever since using this project to launch RDFO Records last year. On, “Messed Up,” Small Words was enlisted to produce the record while BRKN BLVD delivers a gritty, energetic performance, penning one of his most personal singles to date. Over hard-hitting drums and driving guitars, the lyrics dig deep and touch on the constant battle of fighting one’s demons and the feeling of being stuck in a rut and the need to break out.

About the single, BRKN BLVD says, "This is one of my most personal releases to date. Like a lot of other humans, I have been quietly battling demons for some time, and this record was written at a very low point for me. While it's always nice when I write a song that isn't about love or a broken heart, this one almost hits too close to home. I'm sure I am not the only one feeling the feelings represented in this song, so I just hope some people out there can connect with the lyrics and know they are not alone."
