Callum Pitt Sparks Summer Nostalgia With His New Track L.Lane

Despite the cold weather and upcoming winter season, Callum Pitt still seems to capture the essence of summer with his new, warm, bright, and upbeat indie-folk song, “L.Lane.” “L.Lane” brings summer nostalgia with its beautiful melodies, and overwhelmingly positive choruses that are filled with dream like harmonies. Taking influences from The War On Drugs, Bon Iver, and Fleet Foxes, indie-folk newcomer Callum Pitt combines finger-picked folk riffs that are rich with harmonies with his stunning falsetto voice. Ultimately, contributing to his lush, care-free, and timeless sound.

Pitt’s first demos, recorded in his bedroom, received airplay from BBC 6 Music and Amazing Radio, resulting in a spot at Evolution Emerging Festival 2016 with tour support slots, such as Meadowlark, Cape Cub and Isaac Gracie. Pitt’s ability to create musical melodies that have deep tones and rich blends is what adds great dimension to his music, even gaining him notoriety from the blog DIY,  who said,

Callum Pitt… harnesses the lilting nature of Americana, producing some intricate guitar licks and roll-off-the-tongue lyrics that converge into a swelling chorus that sweeps you off your feet.” (DIY).

Callum Pitt continues to hone in his signature dream like style with “L.Lane,”  since this new upbeat track oozes a positive effervesces

With support from blogs including DIY, Dork, Crack In The Road, and radio play from BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music, Callum’s previous releases have frequently landed on Spotify’s coveted ‘New Music Friday’ playlists across Europe and Asia. After his first festival appearances at The Great Escape, This Is Tomorrow, and Deer Shed this summer, Callum is set to embark on his first full UK tour, including performances at Wild Paths festival alongside Jose Gonzalez and a headline show at London’s Paper Dress Vintage.
