Delicious Pop Vibes from YVR

It is always impressive to me to find relatively unknown artists who are creating top notch records. This is especially true in the Pop world where we generally associate hit records with major machines and huge investments. The new tune, “Always You”, from YVR, goes against the grain and helps to prove my point.
On top of a synth laden, 80’s inspired production, beautiful vocals couple with hyper personal lyrics to create an all around Pop JAM. While it may seem to be just the beginning for the California based duo, they have already had some major success, finding support in some major Spotify playlists and playing to packed crowds around LA.
One listen to their new tune and it is easy to hear the massive amount of potential here. The perfectly crafted release can easily fit in rotation at top 40 against the big wigs. Clean and dynamic production featuring ripping guitar solos, bright melodies and an overall groove perfectly compliment the stellar vocal performance.
From the arrangement, to the lyrics and performance, everything here is top notch. This will for sure be spending plenty of time in my Pop playlists.
