Doktor Brings 90’s Dancehall Vibes on ‘Action’ [VIDEO]

Jamaica born, UK based artist Doktor has been wowing audiences for some time now with his signature blend of London swag and Dancehall vibes.  Having racked up tens of millions of streams on originals and collaborations alongside artists like Chase & Status, Tyga, Sigma, Spice, Flux Pavilion, DJ Friction and Lokate, Doktor continues to develop his sound and find his flavor with each new release.

Now following up on recent singles, “On Me”, “Freak Inna You”, and, “Down For Me”, Doktor is back with his latest vibrant jam, “Action”.  Looking to bring the fun, dance floor friendly vibes of the 90’s back to the new age, “Action”, and its corresponding video rely more on catchy hooks, earworm melodies and an undeniable energy to make it stick – keeping things simple and rhythmic yet bubbly and bright.

About the new single, Doktor says, “90s dancehall was a pivotal part of me growing up in Jamaica.  With this single I wanted to recreate and reference a few dancehall classics that everybody knows and loves. ‘90s dancehall was all about good vibes, dancing and having fun, and with this video I wanted to capture just that.

Doktor’s latest release has quickly become one of my favorites for my morning commute and rides in the whip.  This joint is an absolute vibe.  I suggest you check it out.
