Hailing from a small town in Rhode Island, up and coming artist Evan Magee has been honing his craft for years. The self taught guitarist, pianist, songwriter and vocalist regularly writes new tunes both for his artist project as well as for pitching. Over the last couple of years, he has self-released several well received singles.
His latest offering, “Tropicana”, is a jam worthy Pop tune that sees the young artist reflecting on a relationship that has come to an end. Looking back on the good times, Evan Magee looks to move forward and hold on to the memories. Over a clean guitar driven production, Evan flexes on the vocals showcasing his ability to write relatable lyrics and catchy as hell top lines.
Growing up Evan spent a lot of his time listening to songwriters like John Mayer, Jack Johnson, and Ed Sheeran – at the same time he is heavily influenced by Folk, R&B, and Hip Hop genres. All of his influences are clearly apparent on his latest tune. A perfect blend of good vibes, slick arrangements and millennial angst.
