DSTAR Coming in HEAVY
New York producer DSTAR just released his new track, “You“, and it is right up my alley. Anyone that knows me, knows that I LOVE HEAVY CLUB TUNES – and that is exactly what this is.
As 1/2 of production duo Solidisco (who generally drop beautiful melodic tunes), DSTAR seems to be taking things in a whole new direction for his solo stuff. “You,” starts off with some beautiful vocal chops and spacey keys, bringing a classic House vibe… but things quickly take a turn for the DIRTY.
A quick, intense build up breaks down into a ripping bass line and pumping drums seemingly out of nowhere. Bass House at it’s finest. What I like most about this track is how well the mellow and aggressive parts blend into each other… plus who doesn’t like a quick Trap section.
