The longer I run this blog, the more apparent it becomes that Australia has no shortage of talent. Continuing to cement itself as one of my favorite markets, my latest find from the other side of the world is buzzing Pop sensation Emily Perry. Having been performing since the age of four, there is little in the entertainment world that Emily Perry does not do. The actor/singer/dancer/songwriter has seemingly spent a lifetime perfecting her craft(s) and the hard work has not gone I noticed.
Since releasing her debut single, “SUGARCOATED”, in 2016, Emily Perry has released a number of singles, regularly landing near the top of the charts and racking up regular club and radio play and some impressive streaming numbers along the way. Now located in LA, Emily splits her time between her family home in Sydney and her new digs in Cali – that is when she is not touring or in the studio working on her next smash.
Most recently, she has unleashed her debut 5-track EP, “Bossed Up”, lead by single, “Keeper”, and once again proves her worth as an artist to watch in 2019 and beyond. Blending elements from R&B, Pop, Electronic and Hip Hop, Emily Perry feels more authentic than ever before on her latest offering. Working with a team of producers and songwriters with credits that include Justin Bieber, Chris Brown, Pink, Beyonce, Kelly Clarkson, Miguel and more… Emily Perry seems to be on good hands behind the scenes, which will without a doubt help to enhance the dopeness she is already bringing to the table.
