Feel Good Feels from SF Based SUMif

“My goal as an artist is to make you want to move when you’re listening. Whether it be at a live show or at your desk, I hope my music makes you dance.”

For SF based SUMif, that goal is achieved with every release. Originally starting her musical journey in New York, studying music business at NYU, she made the move to Nashville after graduating before finally landing in San Fran. After settling in The Bay Area, Steph Wells launches SUMif, releasing 7 singles in the first year of inception including a Hype Machine #1 in, “Lay Down”. On the performance side SUMif has landed gigs at some major festivals and has shared the stage with major indie and electro-pop darlings such as Vérité, Lauv, Ella Vos, Kučka, and Little Boots.

Her new tune, “Drifting”, continues her push and examines on her catalog of vibrant, feel good jams. Bubbling basslines, bright keys, melodic synths and percussion set the tone for the vocals that sway from beginning to end. A dream like aura rushes over the track that both bops and grooves. This one will without a doubt place some great energy into your soul and get you dancing. Only time can tell what’s next for SUMif, but based on her track record, we can expect some more stunning jams for sure.
