FJ Law — the solo project of UK songwriter and producer Danny Hall — returns with, "play dumb", a fresh collaboration with rising LA-based artist Laur Elle. Following the momentum of, *Tape 2*, which earned support from Spotify and Apple Music with placements on major editorial playlists like New Music Friday, Alt Pop, and Chilled Pop Beats, FJ Law is now unveiling, "Tape 3 with friends", a collaborative EP that leans into electronic textures while staying rooted in emotional, introspective songwriting.

"play dumb", is a sleek, emotionally charged duet that balances pulsing electronic beats with raw lyrical honesty. The track explores the tension between desire and denial, with both artists trading verses that speak to unspoken feelings and unacknowledged truths. The chemistry between FJ Law and Laur Elle is immediate and compelling, creating a layered dynamic that adds depth to the track’s polished production. It’s reflective yet danceable, a balance that defines much of FJ Law’s evolving sound.

"Tape 3 with friends", explores the more electronic side of FJ Law's sound, while ensuring to keep in touch with his raw heartfelt songwriting— managing to feel intimate and expansive all at once, showcasing both artists' ability to convey vulnerability without losing momentum. It’s a strong preview of what’s to come from this next chapter in FJ Law’s artistic journey.
