Over the last decade plus, musical-boundary-pusher Fox Stevenson has continuously proven his worth at nearly every level of the game. Having come on my radar way-back-when, when artists found refuge on Soundcloud releasing bootlegs with no interference from rights holders, Fox Stevenson has remained one of the most consistent and unrestrained producer/artists in the electronic scene. With massive releases on labels like Spinnin’, Monstercat, Liquicity, Disciple, AntiFragile, and more - it was his production that first took the world by storm, with his releases often finding support on main stages and in mix shows from the industry's heaviest hitters.

Fast forward to present day, and Fox Stevenson may be more relevant now than ever before. If I remember correctly, it was in 2019 when he dropped, "Out My Head", that Fox Stevenson took the leap from producer extraordinaire to frontline solo artist - stepping out from behind the box and featuring his own vocals on a release. Having been a fan of his previous dance releases, I was excited by his change of direction, and "Out My Head", continues to stay in rotation for me 6 years later.

While the previous years of collaboration certainly put Fox Stevenson on the wold map, there is always something special - and hella impressive - about a fully solo record. Since then, Fox Stevenson has continued to build his catalog and brand, while pushing boundaries and bending genres along the way. With a massive fanbase, hundreds of millions of streams, nearly 1M monthly listeners and a stacked catalog already secured, it seems like Fox Stevenson is more comfortable than ever creating whatever it is he feels like creating - guaranteeing each drop is authentic, original and as high-caliber as ever before.

Prepping to release his sophomore album, "Sunk Cost Fallacy", on June 27th, Fox Stevenson has been drilling fans with singles from the project all year. Completely written, produced, mixed and mastered by the musical madman, his new album is shaping up to be a real showstopper, with each tune displaying Stevenson in a new light. From upbeat summer-ready foot-stompers like, "Road To Nothing", to more moody Synth-Pop bops like, "Exile Is A Habit", Fox Stevenson has already proven his latest offering will be well worth a listen when it drops.

Leading up to the albums reveal, fans were engaged with an interactive password hunt on his website, which initiated a countdown to a Twitch stream where he announced the album live. Following the announcement, 450 vinyl and merch bundles sold out in 17 hours - and the hype continues to build with, "Sunk Cost Fallacy", taking the spot as the top-selling album across all genres on Bandcamp this past weekend.

Just last Friday, Fox Stevenson released the projects newest single, "Give Me Some Space", and it is an absolute bang. With playful lyrics, hooky melodies and - and always - slick and dynamic production, the new drop blends Hyper-Pop, DnB and Electronic elements into a fun and furious anthem that will undoubtedly get you pumped. From its driving verses to its somber/emo hook, to the wildly rambunctious drops, "Give Me Some Space", is further proof that his sophomore album is about to make waves.
