Swedish-Middle Eastern artist Daniella Binyamin returns with her most personal and evocative project yet: "Poetry 1992", a five-track EP that marries vulnerability with bold, genre-blurring alt-pop. Known for her work as a songwriter behind global chart-toppers—including a #1 U.S. dance hit—Daniella steps fully into her own with her solo project, crafting releases that are sure to stick with you long after you listen. Drawing from a dual cultural upbringing and a love for both Nordic melancholy and vibrant electro-pop, she crafts a sonic diary that’s deeply introspective without ever losing its playful edge.

The EP is rooted in emotional clarity—what Daniella describes as a return to a time "when the small things mattered most." This theme runs through the record, from the swirling nostalgia of “Circles” to the bittersweet brightness of “Jungle”—both of which earned national airplay on Sweden’s Radio P3 and P4. The projects the lead single, “Without Breaking Apart,” hits hardest: a raw, slow-burning anthem about learning to love without erasing yourself. Built over a gritty electronic pulse and layered with acoustic textures, the track captures what Daniella does best—channeling inner turmoil into something cathartic and danceable. “There’s something freeing in singing about heartbreak while dancing your ass off,” she says—and that liberation is palpable in every note.

Much of, "Poetry 1992", was born during a cold winter in Stockholm, and while the production carries a certain crispness, the emotion at its core is warm and immediate. Daniella’s voice, expressive and intimate, glides through sonic landscapes that feel both cinematic and close to the skin. Whether she’s reflecting on heartbreak or navigating identity, there’s a quiet strength in her storytelling. As she prepares to take the EP on tour—"Poetry 1992" marks a confident next step in her evolution as a solo artist. It’s an honest, inventive, and beautifully human release from an artist with a singular voice and vision.
