Australian sibling trio Germein are back and ready to make a statement with the release of their new single “Good For A Girl” on all streaming platforms. Channeling personal experiences that they’ve encountered as women in the music industry, the message of “Good For A Girl” is sure to resonate with listeners across the globe. Sisters Georgia, Ella and Clara possess a dynamic synergy behind the camera as we follow their story with a captivating yet all too relatable visual. The self-recorded and produced track was inspired by a variety of interactions that the girls have had with men in music. After having been suspected of buying things like drumsticks for their boyfriends rather than themselves, they’ve grown acutely aware of how women musicians are seen and treated.
The band have previously toured with Little Mix & Jess Glynne, and were scheduled to kick off their UK/Europe Tour as of March 2020, but like many touring artists, they became grounded once Covid hit. As a result, they refocused much of time and energy into crafting new music in their family home amidst lockdown, and so ‘Good For A Girl’ was born.
