Hailing from West London, emerging artist ZAE is looking to turn some heads with her signature blend of R&B, Pop and Electronic.  Upon atmospheric textures ZAE delivers catchy top lines that are sure to resonate.

Preparing to release her debut EP later this year, the talented young artist is keeping her fans at ease by releasing singles.  Her latest, “F.W.U.”, is a sexy and enchanting release that relies on a slick Electronic production for ZAE to do her thing.  Melodically there is a bit of a 90’s R&B flavor that adds just enough of an urban edge to the track.  Thanks to some solid harmonies and a smart arrangement ZAE is able to share a little piece of her soul on the record.

About the release she share, “I wrote this song about the reluctance I sometimes feel when sharing something personal with new people. It’s easier to hide certain things about yourself rather than be open and deal with the fact that the other person might not react the way you want them to. But in the end, when you have pride in who you are, the right people gravitate to that and you realise that you don’t owe anyone an explanation.

Besides her vocals finding a way to get stuck in your head with ease – the production here is mint.  Impeccable synth work coupled with jazzy embellishments and an outright groove – the beat is both interesting and captivating – with something new popping in to surprise you at every turn.
