Ever since she teamed up with Oliver Holdens for worldwide smash, “Gecko”, I have been paying close attention to the meteoric rise of Becky Hill. With almost too many hit songs to count under her belt, Becky Hill has proven herself time and time again as one of the countries top exports and most sought after vocalist and songwriter. Between releasing her own chart-topping tunes. Becky Hill has also racked up an impressive number of writing credits working alongside artists like Wilkinson, MK, Jonas Blue, Rudimental, Matoma, Lil Simz, Tiesto, Jax Jones, Martin Solveig, MNEK and Little Mix.
Having recently released her, “Get to Know”, project and with her debut album due out this year, Becky Hill is continuing to wow audiences around the world. Recently being named the UK’s second most streamed female artist and with a sold out tour lined up for the spring (kicking off March 26th), Becky Hill is showing no sign of slowing down. With her last single, “I Could Get Used to This”, hanging tight in the charts and rocking steadily on radio stations around the world, Becky Hill is now back with another absolute smash, titled, “Better Off Without You”.
Written by Becky Hill and produced by Mark Ralph, the new single also features fast-rising UK producer/songwriter Shift K3y who brings his signature blend of Pop, R&B and Garage vibes to the track. The pairing seems like a perfect match and the new single is an undeniable jam that features Becky’s stunning, energetic vocals, bubbly synthetic production and just enough groove to set the dancefloor on fire. To add tot he hype around the single, it was also delivered along with an official video, directed by Michael Holyk and shot in East London.
About the single, Becky Hill says, “Better Off Without You’ is that perfect break up song. Starting the year with those New Year, new me feels, it’s your new self love anthem of 2020! Written about a break up of my own, ’Better Off Without You’ was a song that I listened to over the course of 2019 that helped me through some really dark times. I can’t wait to share this bit of personal therapy with others and watch the song take on a life of its own.”
