JC Stewart Sets Up Massive 2020 with ‘Lying that You Love Me’

Over the last few years Irish artist JC Stewart has quickly emerged as one of the most promising young names in the Pop scene. Having racked up millions of streams to date while simultaneously garnering attention from tastemakers around the world, JC Stewart is showing no sign of letting up. With co-signs from artists like Lewis Capaldi, Niall Horan and finding regular support from Radio 1, there is no doubt that JC Stewart is poised for a major come up.


Setting the tone for 2020, and having recently received support as Apple Music’s New Artist of the Week, JC Stewart has just unveiled his new single, “Lying that You Love Me”, which debuted as Radio 1’s Best New Pop song. The down-tempo and cinematic tune relies on lush piano and strings to set the tone while JC delivers a powerful and heart-wrenching performance. Produced by KOZ, whose previous credits include Dua Lipa’s hit,IDGAF”, and, “Hotter Than Hell”, the pairing helps to create a totally captivating release that will without a doubt have people up in their feelings. 


About the single, JC Stewart says, “It’s about that weird feeling of loving what you know and being scared of change,” says JC. “In this case, it’s missing someone, even though you know they were bad for you and it wasn’t going anywhere.
