Jimny Gets Wavy with Ruby Prophet

Originally starting his musical journey as a guitarist in several Rock, Blues and Funk bands, up and coming artist Jimny is now taking the Electronic scene by storm.  Born in Chile, but currently residing in Brooklyn, his first official release came in 2016 with, “Without You”.  His debut made a strong first impression, finding support from BBC Introducing and Spotify and his since amassed nearly 400k streams to date.

2017 has also been an impressive year for Jimny with his single, “Right”, performing well along with a string of official remixes.  Jimny is quickly becoming an artist to watch and a sought after remixer in the Electronic scene – which comes as no surprise when you hear who he is collaborating with.

Hard at work in the studio, Jimny is surrounded by top notch vocalists, producers and songwriters including, Wade, Miami Horror, Arno Cost, Zaia, Curtis Richardson and Herbie Crichlow to name a few.  With a knack for creating emotional and hard hitting tunes – I have no doubt we will be hearing more from him.

His new tune, “Waves”, sees Ruby Prophet delivering beautifully dynamic vocals with a whole lot of attitude on top of a moody yet melodic, synth driven production.  Ruby has been building quite the resume of her own working with artists like Thomas Hayes, Audien, Yves V, Sem Thomasson, Carl Nunes, Jenaux, David Garvell, Tom Swoon, Firebeatz, Dubvision and Julian Jordan.

The track blends influences from R&B, Hip Hop and Future Bass seamlessly into an all around solid tune with a great vibe.  This is a tune I will be keeping in rotation for sure.
