Long Island, New York raised a Jordan Bratton recently released his latest project, “Driver’s Ed”, for which he found acclaim from the likes of Complex, Rolling Stone and more.
Adding fuel to the fire, he has just unleashed the official music video for the lead single, “Pieces”. The tune itself is a soulful and sexy jam, seeing Jordan flex not only his singing abilities, but his songwriting as well. The production is a blend of contemporary R&B with some electronic embellishments and beautiful and powerful vocal harmonies throughout. While the track is downtempo, the energy is delivered via the vocals and production, making sure the tune has you hooked at every turn.
For the video they shot in a church in LA, allowing Jordan Bratton to confess his true feelings and get in touch with the underlying emotions properly. About the video he says, “While we were shooting I was thinking about a lot of the same experiences that led to the writing of the song and it brought back real emotions, real anger, and real passion and I loved every moment because it was authentic and raw.”
