Wow - If you asked me which song I had listened to recently that felt the most relatable, this is what I'd send to you. As if the simple yet quirky cover art wasn't enough, recording artist Jordan Mitchell's "Too Old to Go Out" is hilarious in a very real and vulnerable way. Clever but not corny, "Too Old to Go Out" should have every millennial jumping out of their seats as we reach our mid thirties, adult responsibilities and a lower tolerance for late nights and alcohol. The light-hearted electro-pop sound suits Jordan's radio-friendly pop melodies perfectly. Crisp drums and a touch of electric guitar top off his pleasantly warm, friendly vocal delivery that suits the message perfectly.
A songwriter, producer and audio engineer, Mitchell is now NYC-based, working as an engineer with some of the top names in the music industry. Collaborations include Aloe Blacc, Cyndi Lauper, Ty Dolla Sign, Brandy, Nile Rodgers, Blondie, Lil Kim, Waka Flacka, Tank, Youngboy Never Broke again, Ray J, Elle Varner, Kat Deluna, Dev Hynes a.k.a. Blood Orange and many more.
