Jordan Siwek Captures the Pain of Indecisiveness in "Two Roads"
LA Critic Award-Winning Artist and TikTok Influencer Jordan Siwek is back and more transparent than ever in a brilliantly executed ballad that everyone will relate to. The inspiration for his new hit “Two Roads” stems from the pain that comes with an inability to choose which path to follow or what decision to make for fear that making the wrong one will lead to dire consequences. Through soaring vocals, he captures the paralyzing feeling of indecisiveness, especially as it pertains to a decision that could change the very course of his life. Further motivated by Robert Frost’s poem “The Road Not Taken”, Jordan’s new track similarly describes the dilemma of a person standing at a road with diversion. When the diversion symbolizes real-life situations, Jordan takes to his instruments in what fans will embrace as an energizing battle of internal conflict that can be applied to various situations in life.
“Two roads diverge, Tongue tied, no words / Two roads to choose, I’m so afraid of what I might lose” ~ “Two Roads”
While the message seems heavy, Jordan’s songwriting always focuses on turning the darkness into light by bringing positive messages of unity and hope to an increasingly divided world. In “Two Roads”, we experience exactly that; a message that everyone can relate to through heart-on-sleeve storytelling and captivating instrumentation produced by none other than Jordan himself. In 2018, his critically acclaimed debut album “Sun Inside You” won a Global Music Award for Best Album and was ranked #6 in the LA Music Critic's Forty Best Albums of 2018. That same year, Jordan was also the recipient of the 2018 LA Music Critic Award for Best Pop Artist. Later on, the Official Music Video for his original song "Lover and a Giver" won the honor of Best Music Video at over six film festivals and was awarded Best Original Song at the 2019 Williamsburg International Film and Music Competition.
