Long Island singer/songwriter Josh Tobias just released his new tune, “Summer Thing“, and it is a seriously delicious slice of Pop Pie.
The simplicity of the production lets the vocals shine while also allowing you to catch every lyric, making it more likely that you will be singing along after only a couple of listens. Acoustic guitar, subtle bass and some verbed out rim shots are all this song really needs in support of the beautifully done vocals from Josh Tobias.
Reminiscent of the sound that made Sean Mendez a household name, “Summer Thing“, leaves you with the same feeling of cheery, innocent, love drenched vibes.
Excited to hear what’s up next for JT, but until then this one will be in rotation.
