JT Roach Sways on ‘Wasted Roses’

Born and raised in Wisconsin, songwriter/artist JT Roach grew up with music in his bones.  With his father being a musician/songwriter in his own right, JT’s Irish Catholic upbringing was filled with car ride karaoke sessions, belting anthems at family parties, and listening to music across genres from a young age.

While JT already has some major writing credits under his belt including Jason Derulo and Krewella, he is stepping out now and taking center stage with his original releases.  When I found his latest, “Wasted Roses“, in my inbox, I was instantly hooked.  The Indie Pop track sees JT swaying on a clean and minimal production.  Through relatable lyrics, impressive vocal control and incredibly catchy top lines, JT Roach flexes his vocal abilities and songwriting skills.  This song is the perfect balance of chill, upbeat, and emotional.

About the tune JT says, “I wrote this song about my feelings of anger at having been betrayed by someone I loved. My friend — and fellow artist —Stephen helped me round out the production, punching up the indie electronic production.

This may be the first track I have heard from JT Roach, but I am going to be keeping tabs from here on out… he’s going to be doing big things.
