Kate Lomas Is “Radioactive” In Disco-Infused New Single [VIDEO]

This year has led to revolutionized nostalgic sounds and people longing for a sense of escape. Putting her own spin on this notion, Kate Lomas released her latest single “Radioactive.”

Continuing along the themes of her previous two singles, “Crazy Together” and “Die Young,” “Radioactive” is a callback to a simpler life – a yearning to relive your youth all over again. Featuring sounds from Lomas’ live band and lush synths, the song creates a hypnotic soundscape that will make you lose your sense of reality. Talking about the single, Lomas says:

‘Radioactive’ is about feeling let down and isolated by society and coming to terms with life getting harder as you transition to adulthood. Everything going on in society has really cast a dark shadow over us and I hope Radioactive can help lift people up. I want the track to give people the energy and the comfort that comes from connecting together.”

The latest offering from the London-based singer-songwriter – “Radioactive” is the cornerstone single from Lomas’ upcoming EP due out later this year, which has already seen her release two previous singles, “Crazy Together” and “Die Young” – both of which have been garnering support from BBC Introducing.
