Katie Kittermaster Continues Hot Streak with “Good Liars”

Hailing from the UK, Katie Kittermaster only came onto our radar earlier this year. While she officially launched her solo project in 2019, it wasn’t until her single, “Lukewarm Lover“, landed in our inbox that we fell in love. With an incredibly precise, emotive and enchanting tone, relatable lyrics and obvious knack for melody, we found ourself thinking, “what’s not to love.”

Having been picking up steam over the last couple of years, Katie Kittermaster has found herself on some major stages, performing along artists like Boyzlife, Lucy Spraggan, Kaiser Chiefs, Olly Murs, Scouting For Girls, Since September and Gabrielle. Aside from her personal catalog of killer tunes, fans have also come to love her funny, quirky personality and her on-stage anecdotes. Having released her debut EP back in 2019, Katie Kittermaster has continued to keep the heat on with a regular schedule of releases that seem to only be getting more epic as time goes on.

Most recently, Katie Kittermaster released her single, “Good Liars“, and it is a driving, vibrant jam that is as sad/emotional as it is upbeat. About the single, she says, “Good Liars is about pride and hiding how you feel about the person that you are in a relationship with. A relationship where both parties are not ready to accept their faults so keep ‘dancing around’ the situation. The idea behind the lyrics ‘red out of blue’ came from the concept that red can’t be made from blue so it’s a lie, it’s impossible- the same way it is impossible to hide your feelings in the end – red representing love/passion/emotion and blue representing emptiness and sadness.
