Keir Gibson Stuns with Second Single ‘Hollow’

Hailing from Fort William, new artist Keir Gibson has already been able to capture widespread attention since dropping his debut single, “Eyes Wide”, in August.  Coming out of the gate, tastemakers instantly took note thanks to his impressive vocals and honest and engaging storytelling.  Throughout the fall, Keir got his first taste of touring, hitting the road in support of Irish act Keywest and London-based songwriter Billy Lockett.  About the experience he says, “Getting to play across the UK and Ireland for the first time this autumn has been a dream come true and I’ve learned loads about touring. I’m also really excited to play a headline hometown show in Fort William in December as well as joining the bill for Edinburgh’s Hogmanay – it’s the perfect end to the year for me.

Now ready to kick things up a notch in the new year Keir Gibson has just dropped off his second single, “Hollow”, an inspirational tune filled with ambition and romanticism.  Produced by London duo The Nocturns, and topped off by Grammy-nominated mix engineer Matty Green and Grammy-winning mastering engineer Joe LaPorta, his latest offering sees the young talent expanding on his sound and showing fans a new side.  Speaking on the new single Keir says, “The reaction to Eyes Wide was really cool and something I didn’t expect. I’m excited to see Hollow connect with the audience as it shows a different part of my sound. The last few months have given me the chance to develop my writing, work with some brilliant people and play more live shows than ever before. It’s been incredible.

Keir Gibson really allows his vulnerability to show in his latest tune, penning a self-aware and optimistic Pop smash that will without a doubt be landing in playlists around the world.  With an impressive team of collaborators in his corner, a promise of more to come and an unwavering passion for the music he is creating, I have no doubt you will be hearing a lot more from Keir Gibson in 2020.
