If you have not heard about the new Kendrick Lamar album, you must be living under a rock.
Just when Hip Hop seemed to be lost forever, it is artists like Kendrick who are bringing it back….strong.
This new album deserves praise not only for the lyricism, production and all around consistency, but for its originality as well.
I wasn’t sure what to expect when I went to listen, but what I got from it was the fact that Kendrick is in a lane of his own.  This album is unlike anything, which some may find troubling, but for me that’s what it is all about.
Hats off to Kendrick Lamar for doing his own thing…. and killing it.
