MATEO Stuns On New Single "Let Me Love You"

While MATEO wraps up the end of his semester at prestigious RNCM (Royal Northern College of Music), the 21-year-old singer/songwriter is ready to kick off summer with his stunning new single, “Let Me Love You.”  Serving as his first release on NYC indie RockDafuqOut Records, his latest is an uplifting and inspirational love song that you can’t help but long for. 

Crafted deep within his introverted heart, MATEO delivers an emotive and powerful performance over a slick, acoustic production, allowing his vocals to soar and his lyrics to cut deep.  About the release, MATEO says, “The main lyric, “Let Me Love You”, came from when my girlfriend and I were waiting for her bus during the winter.  I lived very close to the bus stop, so my girlfriend kept telling me to go cause it was cold and I told her, “No, let me love you”.  The next morning the phrase and melody came up in my head as I was cooking my breakfast.  After writing so many heartbreak and heart-wrenching songs, I’m glad my first happy song, is a love song for the girl I love.”
