MATVEÏ releases final installment in TALES_FOR_NIGHTCLUBS EP trilogy

This week, the rising french DJ and producer MATVEÏ released a new EP of house bangers titled TALES_FOR_NIGHTCLUBS_III, featuring the track "MY MIND" as well as previous singles “DO MAR” (which means “the ocean” in Portuguese) and "SUEÑO". Across the 3 TALES_FOR_NIGHTCLUBS EPs released this year, MATVEÏ showed off his versatility as a producer, spanning from peak-time slamming tech house to more laid-back jazzy and melodic styles. He describes this newest song “MY MIND” as a "cozy house jam - just in time for fall”, contrasting nicely with the New Orleans bounce influenced track “‘SUEÑO’ which he bill as as “a club banger for the ladies...meant to be blasted at the club full force.” “DO MAR” is yet another song in his catalog (following tracks such as “IPANEMA”, “SAUDADE”, and “VOCES”) that explores Brazilian music in a house register, taking a more relaxed approach to dancefloor ready sounds that MATVEÏ imagined as“a perfect tune for a late-night swim somewhere on a lost beach.”

Brought up on a steady diet of French hip-hop, house, and bass, the producer blends an exciting cocktail of house and urban club sounds, drawing inspiration from Kaytranada, Disclosure, Metro Boomin, Baauer and Sam Gellaitry. Lauded as a key figure in a new generation of French electronic talent, MATVEÏ's trajectory is on the rise with his tracks being supported by DJs including Martin Garrix, Don Diablo, Hardwell, Tiësto, Todd Edwards, Greg Salto, Vladimir Cauchemar, Habstrakt, Claptone, Solomun, Dixon, Myd, The Magician, kryptogram, Sinego, and more.
