What began as an experiment on the streets of Hamburg, The Techno Marching Band MEUTE have (apparently) become a worldwide sensation since going viral with while performing in Berlin’s Görlitzer Park last year. The group is now ready to release their debut album, “MEUTE Live in Paris“, which includes big band spins on tracks by Deadmau5, Dennis Ferrer, Solomun, N’to and Trentemøller.
The 11 piece group, recorded the album during a blow out show at the prestigious club Le Trianon in Paris, France on March 20, 2019. From captivating groups on the streets, to now selling out shows in world class venues, MEUTE have found away to bring the energy of the Electronic scene back to where it all started. With no synths, computers, drum programming or special effects, MEUTE is bringing stand out performances mixed with quality musicianship to the masses.
Leading the charge for the project, is their take on Flume‘s remix of Disclosure‘s track, “You & Me“. If you are familiar with the original, you can understand why it may translate so well to a live band – and MEUTE absolutely crushes it live.
