New Goodness from Sleeping Lion

Since releasing their debut EP, “Patient Creature”, in 2016, Indie Pop duo Sleeping Lion (Nate Flaks and Noah Longworth McGuire) have received some major acclaim.  Finding early support from the likes of Hilly Dilly, Line of Best Fit, Indie Shuffle and Spotify, Sleeping Lion continue to impress with thief signature sound.  Beyond their release schedule, they have also been able to lock in some major support slots for the likes of Vesperteen, Transviolet and Brasstracks.

On their latest release, “Easy For You”, a sensitive vocal performance drenching in beautiful harmonies carries the tune while the Electronic production drives it all home.  Opening with keys, lush pads and vocals, the mood is set from the very beginning before the energy picks up with the addition of some pulsating synths and drums.  The dynamic release is transformative, with the vocals leading the way, taking the listener along on a familiar ride through the ups and downs of falling in love.

About the release they say, “Easy For You is about forward momentum transitioning from remorse to the indignant self-acceptance that marks the conclusion of a break up.”  Smooth, accessible and emotive.  Another solid jam from Sleeping Lion.
