As crazy as the state of Florida may seem (be) in news headlines that pop up damn near everyday – there is no doubt that there is some great music coming from The Sunshine State. My latest find comes in the way of 4-piece Funk, Rock, Soul melting-pot, G.W. Souther thanks to the recent submission of their single, “Groupie”.
The Orlando based groups most recent tune is a smooth blend of all things good. Dynamic and inviting vocals pair with an impressive arrangement of live instrumentation and the perfect balance between contemporary sounds and modern flare. With a clean mix and lad back vibe, “Groupie”, is a bit funky, totally groovy and just the right amount of sexy.
While all parties involved in the group have had plenty of success individually, writing, performing and producing alongside artists like Cloves, Trae Pierce & the T-Stones, Ty$, Hayley Warner, Christina Milian, G Eazy, Jeremih, and Snoop Dogg – their new collaborative project allows for a new form of expression and a chance for them to collectively expand their horizons.
