Oski Flips Tom Budin’s ‘X with U’

Finding this next one in my inbox got me all sorts of hyped.  A huge fan of AUS based Tom Budin for the last few years, I have been keeping steady tabs and haven’t yet found a release from him that didn’t HIT.

Bringing brilliantly deep and hard hitting (yet melodic) vibes to everything he touches, one of his stand out releases of last year was without a doubt his collaboration with Luciana, “X with U”.  The dirty Deep House track features 90’s inspired vocal rhythms mixed with a fat layered bassline, funky percussion and an overall VIBE.

While I have been rocking the original for some time now, Tom Budin has recently started releasing remixes, one of which comes from Oski.  Pitching the vocals up slightly, Oski dirties up the track with a glitchy and somewhat dubby remix.  While sirens blare beneath the vocals on the hook, the track picks up for the drops, featuring growling basslines, haunting background vocals and a dark groove that is sure to get you moving.  To break the track up, Oski incorporates an array of drum patterns that quickly change up the cadence and vibe before bringing it all back full circle into 4 on the floor boom.

This shit hits.  Keep your ears out for this one this festival season.
